Video Games: The Movie

1. The reasons why games were so popular was because of how fun they were, and how they got to control a character, and they actually got to play games at home, instead of going out to an arcade paying a few cents to play one game each time. A game gets popular by reviews and trailers/commercials, when someone releases their own opinion about a game and says something positive about it, that is when you're convinced that you should get this game. Trailers and commercials are in effect as well by showing the in-game sequences and what the game is like.

2. In the 1980's there was a game that was released by Atari, to collaborate with Universal Studios and the movie E.T. at the time. So Atari rushed this game, and wasn't perfected, and Atari produced millions of cartridges and copies of this game, and it turned out to be the worst game that was ever produced in the history of gaming, Atari soon went out of business after.

3. Of course, games are a form of art. The storylines, the scenery, the message of the games, it has it all. The recent games that are produced today can sometimes release a certain message, kind of like a life lesson, or a type of advice, and the game can look good as well, the recent games that are released look so good that they are close to making look extremely real. The storylines are also a type of art as well, almost all major games that are produced have stories to them, and a story will always be a form of art.

4. The next evolution in games would be to have more advanced graphics and bigger gaming titles and sequels to come. The challenges to come for the next evolution would be the technology to create that type of image in the games that new game designers want to create today.
